Singing Your Bass Lines with Carcassi Etude 7 – Video Practice Journal – April 16th, 2012
by Rob Reid on April 18, 2012
Hey Guys,
Another late post to the blog, did this a few days ago. Just talking about how I look at bass lines, which are one of the most important and perhaps neglected parts of playing classical guitar music, especially for beginners. It’s a great way to work on solfege for you university guys but whatever your doing, you should be singing those bass lines!!
For this video I used Carcassi’s Etude 7 as an example but you should be doing this with every piece of music that you learn.
